Business hours: automations that wait for your team

Since July 3, 2026, automations in replient.ai can follow business hours. You set days, times and a timezone per brand and switch business hours on per automation. When a comment or DM arrives outside those hours, the automation waits for the next opening time instead of replying at 3 a.m. Automations without the switch, like your spam filter, keep running around the clock.

The problem

"Just give us a call." At 11 p.m.

Automations never sleep. That's usually a good thing, but not always. The reply with your hotline number goes out while the hotline is closed. The invitation to your DMs arrives in the middle of the night, and whoever writes back waits until morning for a human. Starting now, your automations know when your team is around.

What's new

Opening hours

Your hours, your timezone.

For each brand, set the days and times your team is available, with its own timezone. The default is Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you manage brands in different countries, each one gets its own hours.

  • Timezone per brand, searchable
  • Copy Monday's hours to all enabled days in one click
  • Overnight shifts work too, like 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Per automation

You decide what can wait.

Business hours only apply to the automations you switch them on for. Your spam filter keeps hiding around the clock while the reply with your hotline number waits for opening time. With the switch on, the whole automation waits, every step of it.

  • For comment automations, comment-to-DM and DM automations
  • Switch in the editor and right in the automation list
  • Off by default: existing automations run as before
After opening

No rush at 9 a.m.

Whatever arrives outside your hours waits for the next opening time and is then spread across the first hour. Comments that came in early go first, later ones a little after. So not everything goes out in the same minute.

  • The comment shows that an automation is pending and when it runs
  • Cancel it before it starts, in one click

Also new in the automation editor

Condition: post date

Since July 6, a comment automation can run only on posts published on a given day, before or after a date, or within a date range. Handy for campaigns and giveaways.

Condition: post caption

Since July 13, a comment automation can react only when the post caption contains a word or matches a text exactly, like a campaign hashtag.

Multiple reply variants

In DM flows, add several texts of your own for the public reply under the comment. replient.ai picks one at random each time, so not every reply looks the same. From Pro.

Three steps to get going

  1. 1

    Set your hours

Open Learning and, under "General settings for this brand", switch on "Enable business hours for automations". Click "Configure hours" to set days, times and timezone, then "Save hours".

  2. 2

    Pick your automations

In Automations, turn on "Apply business hours" for each automation that should wait, in the editor or right in the list.

  3. 3

    Keep an eye on it

When a comment comes in outside your hours, replient.ai shows "Automation pending" on it with the time it runs. Cancel it beforehand if you need to.

Frequently asked questions

Business hours define when an automation may reply, take actions or send DMs. When something arrives outside those hours, the automation waits for the next opening time instead of reacting right away. In replient.ai you set the hours per brand and switch them on per automation.

They land in your inbox right away. Only automations with business hours wait for the next opening time, then run spread across the first hour, earliest comments first.

Only if you switch on business hours for that automation. With the switch on, the whole automation waits, hiding included. So simply leave automations that should act immediately without business hours.

Yes. DM automations and comment-to-DM flows with business hours switched on start at the next opening time. DM automations are available from Pro, for Instagram and Facebook.

The timezone you set for the brand. The first time you switch business hours on, replient.ai suggests your browser's timezone. Every brand has its own, which helps agencies with clients in several countries.
