DM analytics and export: your DMs in numbers

Since May 19, 2026, replient.ai has its own DM analytics page for Instagram and Facebook. It shows new conversations, response time (split by automation, replient.ai inbox and Meta app), sentiment, tags, the posts that drive the most DMs, and the read and click rates of your DM automations. You can export comment and DM analytics as PDF, Excel or CSV.

Until now

"What is the DM campaign doing for us?"

replient.ai had an analytics dashboard for comments, but nothing of its own for DMs. How fast your team answers messages, what people write about and which post drives the most DMs stayed unclear. And the monthly report for a client or your boss meant taking screenshots. That's over now.

What's new

Response time

See how fast your DMs get answered.

The key numbers sit at the top: new conversations, messages received and sent, average response time. Below, you see who answered first: an automation, someone in the replient.ai inbox or someone in the Meta app. Team performance shows replies, completions and response speed per person.

  • Average and median response time
  • Comment-to-DM messages do not count as replies
  • Team performance per person
Topics & sentiment

What your DMs are about.

Sentiment and tags show what people message you about and how happy they are. "When DMs come in" spreads incoming and outgoing messages across the hours of the day, in your time zone. So you can staff your shifts where the messages really arrive.

  • Conversation sentiment and tags
  • Message volume per day and per hour
  • Instagram and Facebook side by side
  • Top conversations by number of messages
Comment-to-DM

Which post drives the most DMs.

"Top posts driving DMs" shows for every post how many conversations a comment automation started, how many DMs came out of them and how often they were read and clicked. For each DM automation you see success rate, read rate and click rate. So you know which content brings leads.

  • Ad or organic post at a glance
  • Click rate only counts messages with a link
  • Success, read and click rate per DM automation
Export

Your report is one click away.

Comment analytics and DM analytics now have an Export button. The PDF is an A4 report with the charts of every section, ready for a client or your boss. Excel gives you one sheet per chart. Raw data comes as CSV, one row per comment or message, for your own analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • PDF, Excel and CSV per graph
  • Raw comments with sentiment, tags, ad and campaign name
  • Raw DMs with direction, automation, read status and clicks

Frequently asked questions

DM analytics measures your direct messages: how many come in, how fast they get answered, what they are about and which posts and automations start conversations. In replient.ai, it is its own page for Instagram and Facebook DMs, with export as PDF, Excel and CSV.

For every new message, replient.ai measures the time until the first real reply. Comment-to-DM messages do not count, because a comment triggers them, not a DM. Only cases where both the message and the reply fall within the selected period are counted.

Yes. Export → "Download PDF" creates an A4 report with the charts of every section, for comment and DM analytics. For your own analysis there are Excel and CSV.

Either the data is still loading, or filters are active in comment analytics. Reset the filters and export is available again.

Instagram and Facebook. TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube give no access to direct messages. Comments from all connected channels are covered by comment analytics.
