Giveaway picker: one random winner across every network

A giveaway rarely lives in one place anymore. The post goes up on Instagram, the same sweepstakes runs on the Facebook page and often as a TikTok video too. That becomes a problem the moment you want to pick a winner, because most giveaway tools only understand a single post. You end up running three separate draws, ending up with three winners instead of one, and you can no longer claim every entry had the same chance. This free giveaway picker fixes that: paste up to five post URLs, from any of the supported networks, and every comment is merged into one shared pool of entrants. The random winner picker then draws one or more winners from that combined pool. We detect the platform from the URL itself, so there is nothing to select, nothing to export and no spreadsheet or CSV anywhere in the process.

Unlike most giveaway tools, nothing here sits behind a paywall: advanced filters, multiple winners, substitutes, the story certificate and the draw animation are all free. There is no login or signup, and you never connect your Instagram account or Facebook page to a third-party app. You can draw from feed posts, reels, carousels, videos and shorts, anything with public comments.

Set your entry rules once, apply them to every post

Most giveaway rules read the same way: follow us, tag two friends, comment with #giveaway. You define those conditions once and the comment picker checks them on every post at the same time. You can filter by:

  • Duplicate comments, so each person gets one entry per network
  • A minimum number of @mentions per comment, for example two tagged friends
  • A mandatory hashtag or keyword inside the comment
  • Replies to comments, which you can exclude entirely
  • Specific accounts, such as your own profile or teammates

The host account is detected per post and excluded automatically, so your Instagram account can never win your own Facebook giveaway. Alternatively every valid comment counts as its own entry, which rewards the entrants who came back and commented more than once.

The honest part: one person, two networks

Here is the detail a credible draw has to disclose. Someone who commented on both Instagram and Facebook enters with two tickets. There is no public way to recognise the same human across two networks, and we do not pretend otherwise. Within a single network, multiple comments from one person are grouped reliably into one entrant. Add the sentence "entries on multiple platforms count separately" to your terms and the draw is transparent instead of contestable.

Fair, random and verifiable

The draw runs on cryptographically secure randomness right inside your browser, so every ticket has exactly the same chance. Each draw receives a unique draw ID with a date, printed on the story certificate. That is what turns "trust me" into proof: you announce the winner publicly and your audience can see the selection was not nudged. Substitutes are drawn in the same run, so if a winner is ineligible or never replies, the next one moves up without repeating the whole draw.

After the draw: announce winners and keep the leads

When the draw is done, download the ready-made 9:16 story image or the story video and post it straight away. The real leverage comes after that, though. A giveaway produces hundreds of comments and DMs, and that is where entrants either become customers or disappear. With a giveaway DM automation replient replies to every comment automatically via DM, sends your entry link and collects email addresses for your next giveaway, turning a one-off contest into a repeatable channel. To see what the campaign did to your numbers, use the engagement rate calculator and the social media audit.

Only running on one platform?

If your giveaway lives on a single network, use the dedicated version with profile search and post picker: Instagram giveaway picker, Facebook comment picker, TikTok giveaway picker, YouTube comment picker or LinkedIn comment picker. Every free tool is listed in the tools overview.

Giveaway rules checklist

Before you publish the post: state that the giveaway is in no way associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube. Name the closing date, the prize and the selection method ("winners are drawn at random with a comment picker"), say which posts count as entries, and explain how winners are contacted, by comment or DM. A random draw with a verifiable draw ID is the cleanest evidence you can show if anyone questions the result.
