Step-by-step: setting up DM automation in replient.ai

1. Create a new automation rule

• Open the replient.ai dashboard and go to the Automations section.
• Click “Add Automation” and give it a name, such as “Freebie DM automation.”

2. Set the trigger condition

• Select “Comment contains” and enter the keyword users need to comment, such as “Freebie” or “Guide.
• Want to allow multiple keywords? Simply add them separately.

Refine the automation by:

• Applying it to specific posts
• Running it only on certain platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

3. Configure the automated response

a) Send a private message (DM)

• Switch to the Actions tab and select “Send private message.”
• Write your DM, for example:
  “Hey, thanks for your comment! Here’s the link to your freebie.”
• Add a button to send users directly to your website or attach the PDF of your freebie.

b) Reply to the comment publicly

Still in the Actions tab, add “Send comment” and choose “Custom text.”
Create multiple response variations to keep it natural and engaging, such as:

• “Just sent you a DM with your freebie! 📩”
• “Check your inbox – your freebie is on the way! 🚀”

This ensures that comments don’t look identical and feel organic.

4. Activate your automation

Click Save & activate – and that’s it!

From now on, whenever someone comments with your chosen keyword, replient.ai instantly sends them a DM and posts a reply under their comment.
