Step 1: Open “MCP & API”

In replient.ai, go to Settings → MCP & API and pick Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Gemini CLI under “Connect an AI app”.

Step 2: Add the connector

A guide walks you through adding replient.ai as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT. Cursor and VS Code install with one click, Claude Code and Gemini CLI with one command.

Step 3: Allow access

Choose read or write per area and which brands the app may see. From then on, you just ask.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI apps like Claude or ChatGPT use other software. An MCP server provides the tools for that, such as “list comments” or “send reply”. replient.ai’s MCP server gives your AI app access to your comments, DMs, reviews, automations and analytics, as far as you allow it.

An MCP server that lets an AI app work with Instagram. With replient.ai, Claude or ChatGPT can read and answer Instagram comments and DMs, hide spam, set up comment-to-DM flows and chart your response time, all through the official Instagram API that replient.ai uses. The same connection covers Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and your reviews.

Connect your Instagram account to replient.ai, then connect replient.ai to Claude or ChatGPT: Settings → MCP & API, pick the app, follow the guide and allow access on the consent page. It takes about a minute and needs no code.

Only within what you allowed on the consent page, and never more than your role allows. Automations are saved switched off, and every change appears in the activity log with “via MCP” and the app’s name. You can disconnect the app any time under Settings → MCP & API.

MCP is included in every replient.ai plan and MCP calls cost no credits. AI features like reply suggestions cost credits as usual. Custom connectors need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan. Custom tags and DM automations come with the Pro plan.
